The weather was gorgeous on Saturday, Oct. 3 as the Rev. Sally Weaver blessed seven pets at our annual Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis Day.
We saw several of our golden friends and made some new silver friends. We welcomed John Alden’s new puppy, Benny. Another puppy named Minnie Pearl came all the way from Nashville with her companion Kathryn (Kitten) Beasley, a former member of St. Martin’s! No, Minnie was not wearing a hat with a tag hanging from the brim.
