Misinformation about immigration policy erodes our civil discourse and impedes thoughtful decision making on this critical issue. In this presentation, Jim Hacking, J.D, St Louis Immigration Attorney, will lay down the legal facts about immigration. The different legal routes to residing in the U.S. and obtaining citizenship will be defined and explained, including Asylum Seekers, Refugees, Employment Visas, Family Visas, and Legal Permanent Resident. Jim will draw on his deep experience as an immigration attorney and active civic volunteer to provide insight and clarity to issues surrounding immigration.
