The reality of the immigrant experience is too often lost in contentious ideological debates. A panel of immigrants from a variety of countries (Colombia, Switzerland, Bosnia, Nigeria, and Vietnam) will tell their stories about their paths to immigration and citizenship in the U.S. Come and listen to these compelling personal histories about the hard work and determination required to build a life in a new country. The immigrants will discuss their motivation to come to the U.S., the challenges they faced, support received and support not available, and their unique perspective on living in America. This moderated program will include panel discussion and Q & A. There is no cost. Reservations are requested but not required. Click here to register.
