Yesterday, after more than a year of planning and hoping and persevering, St. Martin's launched its new ministry initiative, Laundry Love, staffed by members of the Outreach Committee and spearheaded by Anne Fischer, who has shown incredible focus and creativity in getting this ministry off the ground. The Rev. Shug and her wife Doris stopped by for support, since a very disappointed Mother Leslie is still in quarantine.
There is an incredibly easy way for YOU, our friends and members, to help support this ministry, occurring today.
Simply go to the Walnut Grill in the Clarkson Clayton Center just west of the corner of Clarkson and Clayton, between the hours of 11 am and 9 pm. Tell them you are from St. Martin's to support Laundry Love, and a portion of your tab will go to help fund Laundry Love.
Can't eat out today? You can order take out, and support this partnership from the comfort of your own home!
Y'all come-- and spread the word and invite your friends and family to do the same! It's great food for a great cause!
