Music Festival POSTPONED

New Date TBD

Denise’s daughter has been hospitalized and the decision has been made to postpone the Music Festival originally scheduled to take place this Sunday, October 14.

God of all comfort, our very present help in trouble: be near to Rachel for whom our prayers are offered. Look on her with the eyes of your mercy; comfort her with a sense of your presence; and give her patience in her affliction. Restore her to health, and lead her to your eternal glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

You are invited to an enthralling afternoon of music at St. Martin’s Episcopal on Sunday, October 14th, as we celebrate the power and joy of music!

We will have the choirs from our own St. Martin’s Episcopal and from St. Francis Episcopal, in Eureka, as well as featured soloists: Anthony Blatter, Beverly Kinkade, and Ben Silvermintz.  You will hear favorite songs such as: “Bridge over troubled waters,” “Ole Man River,” “Blackbird,” “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms,” “One hand, One heart,” as well as new arrangements of “I Believe” and “Like a River in my Soul.” The music will be accompanied by Denise Marsh, piano; Julia Sakharova, violin; Clay McKinney, cello; Leslie Scoopmire, guitar; Mary Drastal, banjo; and Kate Montgomery, cello.

Please join us at 3:00 p.m. on October 14th for a lovely concert, followed by a dessert reception to greet the performers. All are welcome!

A freewill offering to support Music Ministries will be taken.
