Help Support the Little Saint Nick Foundation
The Little St. Nick Foundation is hosting a fundraiser on February 25th to raise money to have a party for the kids at Shriner’s Hospital. Supporters simply eat a meal at any local California Pizza Kitchen and provide the Little St. Nick flyer to their server. The foundation will receive 20% of all the food proceeds. NOTE: You must bring the flyer to the fundraiser in order for 20% of the proceeds to go to the Little St. Nick Foundation (click here).
About the foundation: The Little St. Nick Foundation was started in Lynbrook, NY by a 5-year old boy, Ray Mohler Jr., who had a rare hip disease. After having to be in the hospital for 8 hours, he felt bad for the kids that were still in the hospital when he left. That year Ray Jr. decided to donate half of his Christmas gifts to kids in the hospital. It grew and grew every year until it turned into the Little St. Nick Foundation. The Little St. Nick Foundation now has an emergency room gift bag program where they provide ER gift bags to hospitals year around, an annual toy drive, and much more! Agha Haider started the St. Louis chapter of the Little St. Nick Foundation in the summer of 2016 after a nerve wrecking hospital visit after breaking his leg. The St. Louis chapter now provides emergency room gift bags, toys, and books to local area hospitals including Mercy Children’s Hospital, Missouri Baptist, Shriner’s Hospital, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and St. Anthony’s Medical Center.
