What’s That Familiar Odor?

Next time you’re in church and happen to smell a somewhat familiar odor, it’s not your imagination. It’s GARLIC! That’s right garlic. Our Garden Committee harvested garlic last week and put it in the basement to cure (or as we call it: “taking a nap”). You may recall that last year we offered folks our garden garlic along with some recipes. Well, this year were going one better because we’ll offer two kinds of garlic PLUS two kinds of ONIONS. The onions are still growing and won’t be ready for a couple more weeks.

So mark your calendars for Saturday, July 14th at the 5:o5 p.m. service and Sunday, July 15th at the 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. services. That’s when we will be offering garlic and onions from your garden. Last year your generosity raised over $500 from this event. This year we hope we can do even better – and with your help we can. Thank you St. Martin’s!
