Food Pantry Sunday This Weekend

St. Martin’s has a long-standing tradition of supporting the Circle of Concern Food Pantry. Our donations help provide assistance to families in West County. The pantry now feeds nearly 2,200 people each month, giving each family a week or more of nutritious meals. This Sunday, July 9, is Food Pantry Sunday.

What is the Reality of Hunger?

The Diocesan Hunger Task Force is cooperating with Empower Missouri to publicize a Jewish response to Hunger called, “This is Hunger” is being offered in St. Louis July 5-7.

Magdalene St. Louis Mini-Golf Tournament

Magdalene St. Louis is hosting their first ever mini-golf tournament on Saturday, June 25, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Get your team together and join them for a fun afternoon of indoor, glow-in-the-dark mini-golf!

Request for Skilled Flood Helpers

On June 12 through June 16, members from the Diocese of Iowa will be in the Jefferson/Franklin County area under the supervision of the Salvation Army to rebuild residences impacted by the floods. We are seeking a few congregants from our diocese to work with them.

ECM’s Annual Summer Celebration

Episcopal City Mission (ECM) is hosting a family friendly fundraiser at Grace Episcopal Church (514 E. Argonne, Kirkwood). Proceeds support ECM’s work with youth in the juvenile justice system.

An Update From The Garden Committee

The St. Martin’s plant sale held on Sunday April 23rd was a huge success! Thank you to all who were able to buy plants in support of our food ministry.

New Ventures in Community Ministry

The diocesan grant, “New Ventures In Community Ministry” is intended to challenge congregations to make a difference where they are and to improve the quality of life in and with their communities, to identify pressing social needs, and to design strategies to meet those needs. Grant abstract due June 9, 2017.

The Book Fair will be here before we know it (May 6 & 7) and we still need donations! Please consider clearing some shelf space and getting the word out to family, friends and neighbors!! We also need some volunteers to help with prepping and staffing the event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
