The Social Justice Ministry will be hosting a book study this summer. The book by Mitch Margo is titled Black Hearts White Minds. It is a legal thriller set in 1964 in Stockville, Alabama.

West County Church Collaborative

St. Martin’s recently joined the West County Collaboration of Churches (a social justice education network) in order to further reach out and speak out for social justice.

Episcopal City Mission Summer Celebration

The Episcopal City Mission’s summer fun event is scheduled for Friday, June 22 from 5:30-8:30 PM. This year is a birthday-party themed night to benefit Episcopal City Mission’s work with youth in the juvenile justice system.

Social Justice Committee Meeting

The Social Justice Committee of St. Martin’s meets at 8:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month in the lower level classroom beneath the church.

Social Justice Presentation on April 29

The Social Justice Committee is hosting a special presentation on April 29 in Park Hall. Bernie Sammons and the “Social Justice 4 All” organization will meet with us to discuss various opportunities for St. Martin’s parishioners to get more involved.
