Growing for Pantries: Fresh Food For All Workshop

Growing for Pantries: Fresh Food for All is a new initiative inviting other churches and schools to consider addressing hunger in the St. Louis region by growing fresh produce for their nearest food pantry.

Garden Update

The results for August are in. We harvested 410 lbs. of fresh vegetables in August.  Year-to-date we have harvested 1,468 lbs.

Our Garden is Growing!

Our Garden Committee has been working hard and it is paying off!! Through the month of May we have delivered approximately 93 lbs. of fresh vegetables to Circle of Concern.

Hunger in Missouri

More than 1 in 8 persons in Missouri is struggling to put food on their tables. The face of hunger is not clear. It could be your neighbor or ours. One in five children in Missouri lives in a household without adequate food.

Have you heard about a newly configuring network of Episcopalians interested in cultivating resilient communities through the growing and sharing of food? Now called “Cultivate: the Episcopal Food Network,” they will host their first conference on Saturday, October 14.
