Social Justice Book Study

The Social Justice Ministry will be hosting a book study this summer. The book by Mitch Margo is titled Black Hearts White Minds. It is a legal thriller set in 1964 in Stockville, Alabama.

Book Club – June 26

The Book Club will meet on Tuesday, June 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the Packwood Library. Everyone is welcome, please join us!

Mitch Margo is a local author, and will be joining us for the book study discussion Wednesday, July 11.  We will offer a light supper in Park Hall at 6:00 p.m. followed by break-out discussion groups. We will reconvene for a reading by Mitch from his book.

St. Martin’s continues The Good Book Club during Easter season

St. Martin’s is pleased to be part of The Good Book Club, a church-wide program that invites all Episcopalians to read Luke and Acts during Lent-Easter 2018.

New Children’s Library Comes to St. Martin’s

Your Social Justice Committee has created a new Children’s Library for St. Martin’s. It contains books to check out, take home and bring back the next week, or to use while at church.

Many Episcopalians denomination-wide are committing to focus on the Holy Scriptures and read the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts (written as a sequel by the same author) during Lent and Easter Season 2018. Forward Movement Day by Day is calling it “The Good Book Club.”

The Book Club meets in the Packwood Library on the fourth Tuesday of the month. On January 23 they will discuss The Other Einstein by Marie Benedict. Come join the discussion!
