Dismantling Racism Training

September Anti-racism training, registration open

Why, you may ask, would we be advertising this BEFORE the 4th of July? This training will have only 30 places and we’re anticipating they’ll be claimed. If this is required for you, or you’ve missed out on the previous two (one filled, one cancelled), consider reserving your spot now.

  • The next Dismantling Racism training will take place Friday & Saturday, September 28 & 29, 2018
  • 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days
  • Held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 318 S. Duchesne, St. Charles, MO 63301
  • Registration deadline is 5:00 p.m., Friday, September, 21, 2018
  • Register online here

The training is an intense two-day workshop which includes historic and current material, multimedia, small groups, role plays, facilitated dialogue, and spiritual nourishment.

Dismantling racism training was mandated by the 73rd General Convention of the Episcopal Church in 2000 (Resolution B049), and the diocesan Commission for Dismantling Racism offers workshops on recognizing and eliminating institutional racism in the Church.

Workshops are free and include lunch and refreshments.
