Calling all artists!

The Bishop’s Task Force on Baptism is exploring ways to elevate and energize our understanding of the Sacrament of Baptism and what it means for each of us in our daily lives. One project we are pursuing is an art exhibit that visually interprets the questions and answers found within the Baptismal Covenant.

Each year St. Martin’s hosts an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. To make sure we have plenty of stuffed eggs to find, we would love your donations!

Please Join Us In Doing One “Small Great Thing”

St. Timothy’s Ministry of Racial Reconciliation committee is hosting an All Church Reading of Small Great Things, a novel by Jodi Picoult. They will discuss the novel on April 16, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the St. Tim’s parish hall. They have graciously invited all members of St. Martin’s to join them in the discussions.

Lion’s Club Trivia Night at St. Martin’s

The Wildwood Area Lions Club is renting Park Hall for a Trivia night on February 24th and they NEED TEAMS!  This is a great way for St. Martin’s church and friends to enjoy a fun night of trivia and prizes.

Men’s Group Breakfast Location CHANGE

Due to conflicting activities at the church, the Men’s Group February Meeting will be at McDonald’s on South Woods Mill Road near Clayton Road. This is on Saturday, February 10 at 9:00 a.m. Please join us.

Parish-wide Meeting with the Bishop

There is an open parish meeting regarding the Rev. Jon Hall’s departure and the subsequent clergy transition on January 21, at 3:00 p.m. in Park Hall with Bishop Smith, Chancellor Hal Burroughs, and the Canon Joe Chambers.

The Men’s Group breakfast meeting for January 13 will be at the McDonald’s at Clayton and South Woods Mill.

As you enter St. Martin’s sanctuary, you may notice a new banner hanging on the wall above the choir loft.

January Book Club

The Book Club meets in the Packwood Library on the fourth Tuesday of the month. On January 23 they will discuss The Other Einstein by Marie Benedict. Come join the discussion!
