St. Martin’s Scholarship Program

On April 29 we will kick-off our 17th consecutive year of providing the St. Martin’s Scholarship.  This scholarship is granted to a west county high school senior from the Valley Park, Rockwood or Parkway school districts to help a local student get a good start into college.

Peace Meal

The Peace Meal Project is a free fellowship meal for all, served every Saturday evening at St. John’s in Tower Grove.  St. Martin’s is the sponsor on April 28 and we are currently looking for volunteers. We typically run two shifts: preparation 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and serving 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Couples, carpools and sub-groups are welcome to help and you can always serve both shifts as it is a little bit of a drive down to St. John’s.

Blood Drive on Tuesday!

St. Martin’s semi-annual Blood Drive is scheduled for Tuesday, April 17, 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. Help make a difference in someone’s life through blood donation!

Medical Equipment Drive

St. Louis HELP (Health Equipment Lending Program) is holding an area-wide Medical Equipment Donation Drive on Saturday, May 5. Clean the attic, garage or basement and make a tax-deductible donation of your medical equipment at one of the designated Walgreens drop off locations. St. Louis HELP loans the donated home medical items to anyone in need at no cost or fee.

News from Circle of Concern

Food is serious business at Circle of Concern. We welcome more than $1 million worth of food donations each year from our community. The lion’s share of cash donations we receive is used to purchase wholesome foods like milk, eggs, meat, fruits and vegetables to supplement shelf-stable choices.

Good Friday Offering

The Good Friday Offering is one way we in the Episcopal Church help to support the ongoing ministry of love and compassion carried out by our Anglican sisters and brothers throughout the Province of Jerusalem and Middle East.

Mission Trip to Texas

There is a mission group from Iowa who came to St. Louis to help with flood relief last summer. St. Martin’s provided them with much appreciated meal support during their week here. They are now planning a trip this spring to Houston, and are inviting anyone from St. Martin’s to join them.
