The St. Martin’s Social Justice Ministry group meets next on Saturday, July 8. The first part of this meeting will be a presentation by guest speaker, Scott Walker, the President of Kingdom House. The second portion of our meeting will be devoted to learning more about the national church program entitled Becoming a Beloved Community.
St. Martin’s social justice group gathers for its regular monthly meeting on the second Saturday of the month, June 10, at 8:30 a.m. for a potluck breakfast and conversation.
The diocesan grant, “New Ventures In Community Ministry” is intended to challenge congregations to make a difference where they are and to improve the quality of life in and with their communities, to identify pressing social needs, and to design strategies to meet those needs. Grant abstract due June 9, 2017.
In an effort to renew our relationship between diocesan churches and Grace Hill Settlement House, a gathering is planned for Saturday, May 20 at the Grace Hill Water Tower hub offices.
The St. Martin’s Stewardship Committee is looking for someone willing to donate Hyatt points or frequent flyer miles so they can participate in the TENS (The Episcopal Network for Stewardship) Conference next month.

The new Vestry will hold its first forum with the parish on Sunday, April 2nd in Park Hall following the 10:15 a.m. service.
